The existence of GrabFood has provided a different option to the public. GrabFood provides competition to the other existing food delivery platforms like FoodPanda. This can prevent monopoly from happening, which leads to the public enjoying the services with less money spent. It can also ensure that the market is healthy.
The perfect opportunity for GrabFood to optimize its performance" likely discusses how GrabFood can leverage the challenges and opportunities presented by the COVID-19 pandemic to enhance its operations. It may explore strategies such as capitalizing on increased demand, implementing safety measures, forming diverse partnerships, integrating technology, and adapting to consumer trends to improve customer experience and overall performance. GrabFood often offers a variety of promotions and discounts as a marketing method to attract customers and encourage them to use the platform. To illustrate, GrabFood may have flash sales where certain meals are having heavily discounted prices for a limited time. These sales often create a sense of urgency, encouraging users to place orders quickly to take advantage of the deals. Some promotions are targeted towards loyal users who frequently use the GrabFood platform. These promotions may reward users with discounts, free items, or other perks based on their order history or participation in loyalty programs. For instance, customers can earn GrabRewards points and redeem for the next order to enjoy the promotions on food or delivery fees. Other than that, during holidays, festivals, or special events, GrabFood may run themed promotions or offer special discounts to celebrate the occasion. GrabFood also provides contactless service, which is a great idea especially during Covid-19 period, securing the health of customers. (Irawan & Albari, 2023)

Customers need to download the Grab app and register an account to utilise Grab Food. They can look through the menus of participating restaurants and order delivery. Customers can make payment for their orders with credit cards, GrabPay, or cash. Once the order is placed, the Grab food delivery driver will collect the meal from the restaurant and bring it to the customer's doorstep. With the Grab app, customers can track their delivery in real-time (Marcos, 2023).
